Our isolated serial converter (rdc485ic) safely converts between RS-232 and RS-485 signals while protects them from ground loops and damaging surges. The data signals have 2.5kV optical isolation. Its transmit, receive and power status are indicated via LEDs for rapid troubleshooting.
